Why does the BBC promote musicals and guarantee their success?
Question asked by: mrquestion

This was an interesting point that was made the other week, but the BBC basically said it just makes TV programs but if it makes one on musicals then it makes sense for it to be focused around a real show to add credibility to a program.
Which is probably fair enough, but it does help line the pockets of Andrew Lloyd Webber even more with the masses of free publicity that it gives these shows!
