Why is Charles Dickens so well read?
Question asked by: mrquestion

Charles Dickens is indeed well read.
This is because the books he wrote were seen to be excellent commentaries with a good mix of absorbing storytelling and also some vivid and interesting characters.
The names that Dickens had are shown to be wonderful and also can be quite emotive, for instance the idea of Scrooge now just automatically summons up in the mind the idea of a miser and someone who counts all the pennies and has no joy in their heart, the name just fits!
