Why is Daniel Webster featured in news papers across the country?
Question asked by: Madison
Asked on: 29 May 2008

Which country are you talking about?
I'm in Britain and I've never heard of Daniel Webster.
However a quick search on wikipedia suggests that he was a leading American statesman, and therefore it is a reasonable guess that the answer is he is in the newspapers due to something to do with what happened during his lifetime which was 1782 - 1852.
