Why is it important to look good?

It is important to look good in this day and age because the superficial is more important than ever, and more and more people put stock on how you look and judge you on apperance.
In some ways this is sad but it is how the modern world works where the image is more important than ever - think of the media world of celebrity and TV and music which is more about what you look like than how you sound.
Therefore it is important that we all look as good as we can if we want to get the maximum that we can out of society - sad but true.
