Why would a company not want to make money?

Question asked by: mrquestion

Asked on: 31 Mar 2008

Charities are often more focused on doing good work than making money.

And there are also not for profit organisations that are there to carry out some purpose for instance to help people with education or to improve their health etc that are there to try to do good rather than make profit. They are often state funded or so called philanthropic organisations and bodies.
