Will facebook continue to grow at a large rate?

There is a big explosion at the start of a business that really captures the imagination and takes off.

However then you hit a period of consolidation where not much happens, then people may stay or slowly drift away.

But no-one really knows as these mass social network sites are still too knew for experts to know what will happen ongoing.

It could be they have a natural shelf life of a few years before everyone gets bored and either stops using them or moves onto the next big thing, or they could be here to stay... who knows!
