Yes, don't do a crash diet to lose that weight after Christmas whatever you do.

Why?

Not only might it be dangerous, it is also very hard to stick to and so you will probably find after a while that the weight comes back on.

Therefore you should really try to lose the weight progressively and gently over a period of time.

Couldn't agree more... too many people try to lose the weight really quickly which is usually dangerous and does more harm than good in the long term.
