One of my friends is being bullied at school. What can I do to help?
Bullying is a horrible thing that has been around ever since schools began, and it can take many forms.
Sometimes it is purely verbal, other times it is even also physically threatening.
The longer that it is allowed to continue the more acceptable bullying becomes to the bully.
The teachers and parents must be alerted to the situation as soon as possible so that they can intervene and remedy what has happened.
A common tactic that bullies use is to make you feel guilty for 'grassing' them up or telling on them, however that is completely wrong - no-one deserves to be treated badly and such behaviour must be nipped in the bud.
