I find it really hard to pay attention and listen in class how can I get better at concentrating?

Sometimes it is hard to concentrate all the time and we all daydream from time to time and stop paying attention to what is being said.

Some people find it naturally easier to concentrate than others, but the good thing is that you can learn to concentrate better with practice.

Set yourself little targets like to listen exactly to what the teacher says for a minute at a time, and then increase it to a few minutes and so on as you get better.

As soon as you get a distracting thought in your head then teach yourself to ignore and dismiss it from your head just as soon as you can.

In this way and with a little practice you will start to get really good at concentrating and will not get distracted nearly so easily!
