I have no friends and am really lonely and I don't know what to do?

It can be very hard for some of us to make friends and it is not unusual therefore that there are always some at a school who don't have many friends.

If this applies to you, then what can you do about it?

Well the simplest thing which is also the hardest is to start talking to people. Now it might be you can spot someone else who doesn't have many friends either and if so then they will be glad of the company.

If it really seems that everyone else has friends then look for someone who is most approachable, so not one of the cool gang or lads as they will probably not want to talk to you... by selecting the right person you can make friends.

Talk to the people who sit next to you in class and gradually start to hang about with them a bit.
