Showing your abs...

When it comes to showing your abs, there are two basic facts that you need to know.

The first of these is that you need to do exercise! You can't simply think your abs into showing.

The second part is less well acknowledged but also true.

Everyone has a layer of fat that coats or runs over the abdominal muscles of the stomach.

Now even if you have a good exercise plan and do your stomach crunches and so on, then it is true that you're never going to show the abs if you have a layer of fat on top.

So the key is to remove the layer of fat, and to do that you need to do it through losing weight that may or may not be on top of the stomach muscles.

Once you have done that, you will realise that the exercise will then add tone and definition to the muscles rather than actually being the key to the matter of showing your abs.

When it comes to the exercises that you do, you should ensure that you do stomach crunches as these are the most effective.
