How to get the man of your dreams

If you want to get the man of your dreams, then you need to know the way to his heart. As the joke goes, it's straight through his chest!

Seriously though, if you need to do a bit of old-fashioned wooing to get the man of your dreams, or at least someone that you really like, then there are several methods that you can use.

The first of these is the old classic - food - long held to be the best way to get the interest of a man. Sure if you are a good cook then by all means cook him a meal, but the fact is that to get a guy interested in the first place you might want to use some different strategies!

First you need to find out if he is interested. This should be obvious from his body language and the way that he acts around you. He may also drop hints to you either directly or through your friends or his friends.

But sometimes he won't act on this directly and therefore if you want to get a date, then you need to make clear your interest too, without being too obvious.

These days a little bit of text flirting and teasing is more than acceptable before a date, and if you can build up his anticipation to meet you then he is sure to eventually ask you the question and you have secured that date.

If that doesn't work or you don't know the number and perhaps even the name of the guy, then you need a more direct approach to the key to his heart, or at least a date. One impressive method is to ask his friends what his favourite food is, and then go up to him directly and ask him out and offer to cook that meal for him.

He is sure to be impressed at both your confidence and your research and this is almost guaranteed to get you the date. All you then have to worry about is cooking it! There is nothing wrong with a girl asking a guy out rather than waiting for things to happen the other way around then go for it.

Remember not to be too over eager or keen as this can be a turn off, therefore keep something back of yourself to get them intrigued and wanting to find out more information about you.

Good luck - relationships are meant to be fun so don't get too hung up, if this one doesn't work out then move on to the next guy of your dreams and the next relationship; dating is about learning and having fun as you go along until you find the right one, particularly when you are young you are unlikely to really meet the love of your life straight off!
