Make up and how to look natural with make up!

If you apply makeup then the thing is - other people should spot the fact that you look better than when you don't wear it but without it being plain and obvious that you are wearing make up. Therefore the more subtle effect is what works best - caking it on and changing colour so you can see nothing of your face at all is just not the way to go really!

So when it comes to make up, what should you do to get that nice natural look and effect?

Well, the first step is to get a good quality tinted moisturiser and apply all over your face, this is usually better than foundation when it comes to getting a good lightweight covering for your face that can look natural.

Next use a little concealer where you require it, a good tip is to use a light reflecting concealer in order to keep that natural look and to ensure that it enhances your face and overall look.

If you use bronzer, then remember not to go overboard and use too much which is the main reason that bronzer often does not look natural - use it sparingly for best effect and sweep it when applying, it is best applied just under the cheekbone for definition, structure and highlighting of the face.

The classic makeup of the eyes would involve using a dark mascara, and play safe and stick to black for most purposes, it is the most common for a reason - it works on pretty much everyone and all eyes, so be sure to go with that!

If you wear lip stick then that is fine, again use a subtle shade not a bright cherry red that is screaming out the fact you are covered in make up. To that end you may find it better to use a lip gloss instead.

And that's really all there is to it!

To get a natural make up look does not require any special products or methods, it is all about doing things in moderation and sparingly and being sensible and just using the amount of each product that you actually need to get the effect that you are after.
