Hi everyone,

I ahve just moved in to a new house and the previous owners had used a room as an indoor kennel, i lifted the laminate floorinf phew.. to reveal quarry tiles, they are more or less sound, but there is black staining under neath in a sort of ripple effect where the dog urine had seeped through, i ahve tried paint sripper, sugar soap, washing powder, bleach but to no avail, can anyone suggest something to soften remove the mess, there is no smell as that went as soon as the laminate flooring went.

also some of the tiles are sort of pitted slightly. can anyone suggest how they may be redressed

many thaks
debra

Some quarry tiles have naturel dark staining but if its patches have you cillic bang, or bleach with a scrubbing brush instead of a sponge. As for redressing im not sure i think you can buy varnish for them but your best asking in diy stores?
