How best to put in a belly button bar

Ok so i've had my navel pierced for a few years now but noticed i have trouble putting in a fresh bar. today i had lost the ball to my bar (but have since found it on the floor at home) which is one that goes in from top to bottom rather than bottom to top. now this is easier for me to put in but normal upwards ones i struggle with. its as if it can't find the hole or should i say tunnel that has been created inside my belly to allow it to pop out the top. i now have no bar in and am trying to put a new one in. i have tried standing up, sitting down, lying down, pulling in my belly, u name it bar standing on my head i've tried it lol.

any tips to help me get a new one in and any others i wish to change

How Best To Put In A Belly Button Bar

Vaseline if it coz the holes closed slightly. Urm if its coz your going from the bottom
To top then sit arched on the sofa and just lift up/back your belly button so you can see the hole and stick the bar in slightly then let go and push it all the way up with a slight wiggle if it gets a little stuck. But you best just leaving it in turn it round and move it up and down. Just play with it, it keeps the hole from closing around the bar. Not to much mind lol x
