i have recently joined at a new work place...and understand from my girl colleague that she also joined 2 wks before me - its almost 4 months we are together.
our desks are quite distant from each other...hwr, some our job areas are interdependent...there is lot of exchange of information between our jobs, etc.
Whenever we have a question to be discussed, either I walk across her table and discuss the issue.....purely in a professional way... but whenever she comes across to my table....she has a tendency (i do not think any intentions as I am very professional at my desk...) to touch my hand...whenver a view point is expressed....or incase I am trying to show some information ofcourse official on my PC...she is standing next to my chair (while I am on my pc)...but she has a tendency of resting her elbow on my shoulder. Mind you, we have both responsible positions....we got to set an example to others at work place......and although I am maintaining the office decorum of not touching her at any given time.....somehow she has the habit of touching me whenever she makes a view point...(otherwise she is quite professional too).....what does this mean? As a individual, I am a non interfering chap, love to smile to everybody I meet across in the office, very neatly dressed - top to toe...well groomed ....clean shaven..neat nails...good body fragrance.... Most important...I am equal in my dealing with everybody...
