How to remove paint from faux suede

I've got a pair of faux suede curtains which have a couple of paint marks on them. I was just wondering if anyone had any tips on how to remove the paint without damaging the material. Many thanks. Collette

If you are dealing with a Dry-Clean drapery...then use OMS, oil of mineral spirits, and a light brush. Also a rag to wipe away as the paint breaks down.

The OMS should work on most fabrics really.

Try to "break" or scrape off as much as you can at first.

Hardware stores carry OMS. It is a dry solvent...and will evaporate. Leaves no marks, and wont hurt dyes.
