Metabolism and losing weight

I have read lots of information in magazines about metabolism and that different people's metabolism works at different rates.

Is there truth in this or not? It seems true to me - some people can eat loads and loads and never put on any weight, whilst for others eating the same as most people still seems to have them putting on weight.

It would be good to get this debate settled and find out the truth about metabolism and whether it really is easier for some people to weigh less than others!

It is true that everyone's metabolism rate is different, but there are many ways to speed up your metabolism.

Eating breakfast is a good way to kick start your metabolism each day and get you going, and probably exercise has a similar effect...

This is definately true. I am one of those people who used to feel like i was gaining weight by just looking at food but obviously this is not the case. You just need to speed up your metabolism;

Eating breaky everyday. Did you know apparently you can gain 9lbs in a year from not eating breakfast everyday.

Exercise its a great way, a good fat burn programme with at least 40 mins cardio 3/4 times a week.

Also eating little and often is a good way to speed it up. Your body never has chance you panic and store fat. And it means you never feel overly full because your eating smaller portions
