Hi, my first post since joining five minutes ago:
I looked at a Google map, wandering the globe. Then I saw white streaks or white mountain formations in the middle of Venezuela, above its main river. They seem to stretch out in an east, north-easterly direction for about 60 miles. I'm wondering if those are clouds, streaks on the emulsion of the photograph, or if those formations really exist in the land. If so, what are they, or what do they represent?
If they are clouds, they don't cover the rivers. If they are scratches, they don't scratch across the rivers, either. If they are aberrations added after the photo was taken, perhaps they touched up the rivers?
