How do you convert to binary? I dont understand the entire topic BINARY...i.e two\'s complement and etc.

Converting to binary is to remember to use base-2 as a number system.

Ordinary numbers work on base 10, e.g. 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9 and 0

With base 2 there are only 0s and 1s.

So you multiply each position by two and the rightmost is by one.

Eg

8 4 2 1
1 0 1 0

So 1010 in binary is 8+2 = 10 in decimal (base 10)
