Is there life on other planets?

This is an intriguing question, one that captures the imagination of many and leads them into exploring the universe in which we live.

The answer is that no one knows for sure, as no certain proof of life elsewhere has been found.

However science has shown how massive the universe is and that there are virtually countless stars and planets. Therefore the chances of finding life in one of these seems to be very high due to the massive numbers involved.

Thus we can say there almost certainly is life elsewhere, though we don't yet know for sure.

Due to the distances involved it may be that we will never know about other civilisations or life.
