What is photosynthesis?
This is a process that goes on in plants and in fact which the whole of life as we know it is indebted to - well animal life anyway, which always feeds ultimately on plants at some level of the food chain.
It is the process through which the plants use energy in sunlight to convert water and carbon dioxide into carbohydrates and oxygen.
