So its nearly time for a new year to begin, and there will be a whole new fashion to follow in 2011.

Thigh high boots will be in this season so now is a time to invest in a pair. They will make you stand out as they look great but are also very comfortable. They keep you warm in winter too which is a big bonus.

Cardigans are also in next year along with ponchos. They can be teamed with leggings and some heels. Cardigans are great for almost any outfit as you can wear them during the day and also put one over a glamourous dress on a night out.

Lace is also back but with a rocker style that shows edgy femininity.

Military style is in, with shoulder pads and bomber jackets becoming popular.

Colourful hand bags are a great way to add lots of colour to an outfit.

Think Lady Gaga, as glitter and sequins make a comeback along with funky prints.

Leather and platform shoes are back too, so think leather jackets.
