A great way of getting new business is by doing what you're doing now - looking at web sites. If you find a site that looks quite professional, say a small business site, but is full of spelling mistakes, then email the owner of the site, pointing out a few, and offering to re-write the copy for them. You may be surprised to find that the return will be quite good - in fact more than you think will take you up on your service if you pitch your message to them at the right level.
