2a - The Revision Timetable

Education : How To Excel In Exams

As for the revision timetable itself, we suggest you follow these guidelines:

Make your targets realistic - do not aim for 12 hours revision a day!

Remember to schedule breaks, perhaps every 30mins

Offer yourself treats for completion of tasks, e.g. TV program, chocolate!

Remember to take exercise as well : healthy body, healthy mind

Try to give a fair balance to each subject, allowing slightly extra for weaker subjects, but do not completely sacrifice certain subjects

Aim to revise for several weeks before the exams start, perhaps 10 or so if you can, and build up gradually

Start with an hour a night, then move up to several hours as the exams approach

Stick to the timetable!
