4: Analysing Feedback
Jobs : The Post Interview Process Take the feedback on board, and ask for more if you are not satisfied with what you have received. If there are views or opinions there that surprise you, then see if you can get some sort of explanation or justification for it. Feedback is just as important if you passed as if you failed - in both cases, it can be used in the future to help you, either in your job or in future interviews. Of course, everyone loves to be praised, and on the other hand, lots of us find it hard or deflating to receive negative comments, even if it is in nice language - fundamentally phrases like 'you didn't', or 'we felt that you failed to fully...' and so on can be hard to take. But remember many of these things are relative to other candidates, and so don't feel too dis-heartened. Rather take it all on board and remember it for the next interview - every mistake you make now is an extra step taken on the road to success the next time, as long as you try hard to eliminate those mistakes in the meantime.
