5: Responding To Interview Feedback

Jobs : The Post Interview Process

If it is the case that you receive really bad irrelevant feedback, or feedback that is more of a personal attack, then you should ignore it, and do not let it hamper you - you have had a bad experience and this must not affect your confidence.

If you get the impression from the feedback that you were not the strongest of candidates, to put it mildly, then again try not to be dis-heartened.

An interview result is often a personal impression of you, and there might just have been a clash of personalities.

You must keep plugging away and keep on trying for that success.

There should always be some positives to work on from your feedback, and plenty of points that you can improve on either way.

And you should try and work on these in your working life, and also in preparation for your next interview should you have failed.
