In general yes, unless you are sure it would do you no good to revise the night before, if you get incredibly stressed or something. In the vast majority of cases though, a thorough going through of all your notes, and not just the few points on your revision cards, should pay dividends. In this way, extra details that are inevitably not picked up on by your revision cards can be refreshed in your memory and committed to memory.
