8e - Use The Correct Ink Colour

Education : How To Excel In Exams Part III

Remember that you should never write in red pen (unless specifically told to), and it is best to avoid green as well.

Examiners tend to mark in red, and chief examiners in green, so always use blue or black ink, unless you are explicitly told to do otherwise (which is unlikely).

Using red/green ink will usually result in a rubric infringement - e.g. it is breaking the code for the exams and could cause problems.

Similarly, the use of ink remover pens/Tippex is also usually against the rules.
