8g - Familiarise Yourself With The Exam Paper

Education : How To Excel In Exams Part III

OK, so the supervisor says ?you may begin.? What now?

Depending on the paper, it may be useful to have a quick look through at the questions, and see how many marks are on offer for each question, to give you an idea of how much time you should spend on each section.

You may already know this from past papers.

Familiarising yourself with the paper is always a good idea though.

Also, do not think you should always do the questions in order (unless specifically told to do so).

As long as you answer the requisite number of questions, the order is usually not important.
