8n - How To Manage Your Time In An Exam
Education : How To Excel In Exams Part III You do this by looking at three things: - the length of the exam - the number of questions you must answer - the number of marks for each question and the total number of marks available Example: It is a 2 hour exam (120 minutes) There are 20 questions and 120 marks available This means that for each MARK you should expect to spend ONE MINUTE during the exam. Therefore let's say question one is for two marks - spend about two minutes on it (short answer, probably factual) But if question 20 is for 10 marks, then you should spend approximately ten minutes on it, and give a lot more detail.
