A Very Easy Way To \"bag\" Food For Freezing.
| Food And Drink : Great Food Tips I didn't even really think of this as being a "tip" until yesterday, when my daughter {who is an experienced chef, would you believe} saw me doing this and said "Wow - what a great idea!". All I was doing was putting some soup into a freezer bag; however instead of trying to hold the bag open with one hand while I poured with the other {virtually impossible without making a mess}, I first placed the bag into a large jug, with the edges folded over the rim. This makes "bagging" food so much easier whether it's soup, rice, curry, or anything else you want to freeze, but I guess it's something they just don't teach kids these days at chef school........
