Acne Problems For Teenage Girls

Beauty : Teens And Beauty

If you a teenage girl, then you may well suffer from Acne for one simple reason: that is, make-up!

It is an ironic circle, because you often start off wearing make-up to look nice, but this can clog pores in teenage years particularly and cause acne. So then you need make-up to cover up the acne, which in turn makes the acne stay or get worse.

So what can you do?

Well, try only to wear makeup on occasions where you have to or really want to - for instance a party. Stop wearing it to school or in the evenings.

On times where you do wear it always take it off as soon as you can - never leave makeup on overnight, for instance, as this is really bad for your skin and doesn't let it breathe.

By letting your skin breathe whenever possible, you can help reduce that particular cause of Acne as a teenager.

I had really bad acne on my forehead and used to cover it with my fringe. But as hair often gets greasy this only made it worse...although i was really self concious for a while i pinned it back and it got better!!!

Hey. I'm 13, and have had spots/acne for a few years now. Ive tried many things; clean&clear, witch hazel, and many more. I found that driking plenty of water, using clean&clear products, excersie and NO MAKEUP! even though you will want to cover them up, don't. it only makes it worse by clogging your pores up. Dont listen to what people have to say because its never as bad as you think it is. xx

I got acne from wearing Oil-Based Makeup e.g Foundation! I've tried every 'cure' from this website when i wasn't a member except from the weird chocolate smearing of the face that a guy mentioned...Do not use toothpaste as this is irritiant to the skin and it burns away like hell, Clearasil is bad for your skin as it burns away the layers and makes your skin peel and sting, Simple is good for your skin as a moisturiser as it does not burn and contains good natural ingredients, however, it does not work fast enough, Freederm is good as it takes the swelling down but does not get rid of the spot completely, Witch Hazel is good but stings and takes the swelling down and a few spots also. Ice cools and takes the swelling down, Sudocrem for some people (rare) gets rid of spots but i've noticed comments from people saying they have gotten more spots or that it doesnt work (it gives me more & doesent work) I went to the Doctors yesterday and they were very helpful and understanding, they have had uncomfortable teens feeling like me & the rest of us whom had given up hope for their acne but theyy filled a form in of free products to try out from the chemist. I got a liquid formula called Zineryt, it is applied to the face 2x daily and burns like HELL (think of nail varnish remover on the face) but it works WONDERS ALREADY! All my SPOTS have nearly gone! The pain is less each time you apply but after the 6 weeks of treatment i have been told to moisturise a LOT, i can see my old beautiful skin that i've not seen for 2 years! :') :)

USE DUAC ONCE DAILY CREAM! Which is supplied by the doctors :)
or
USE SUDOCREM!
