Much of the time will be spent doing admin duties; you may work alone or work as part of a team on one practice. You need an extremely detailed knowledge of acupuncture, methods and benefits in order to even consider practice. You will need good hand skills and of course be the sort of person who enjoys, or does not mind, sticking needles in people. There are many courses which will teach you the basics, and also exams. Practictioners are hotly vetted to ensure they are reputable. Demand is increasing.
