How To Add Spring To Your Legs

It is important to have some good spring in your legs to get that push off the ground, drive and explosive start.

Here are a couple of useful drills for this running technique.

First: jump on both feet together, with your heels off the ground. Then, lift your knees alternately right up to

your chest, and ensure to keep heels off the ground.

The second is a variant of the first. In this running drill technique, you lift just one leg, then the other, and

ensure that you keep your heels up off the ground at all times.
