Once you have chosen one to use on your whole body, make sure you exfoliate before you begin, using a loofah or some kind of body scrub. This will make the colour go on much smoother and more naturally. Dry your skin thoroughly afterwards and decide where you are going to apply the tanner. You might want to apply some moisturiser to areas where the skin is a bit tougher than the rest of your body, like knees and elbows. They really do make you feel fresh and clean - then I moisturise it doesn't need to be expensive stuff, vaseline intensive care is quite good. Then I apply the tan with a pair of latex gloves, taking care around elbows, knees and ankles. Some experts reckon you shouldn't apply false tan on the same day you've shaved but I do coz who wants to put false tan on when you've got spiky legs. I try to do it in front of a mirror so I can see what I'm doing. Also if you don't have someone to apply your back you can get an applicator on a stick for that purpose. I reccomend Loreal Sublime - the bronzing one I've used it for years and wouldn't change it for anything. For me the best fake tan is 'bronze' from avon . It looks totaly natural, isnt streaky if you apply it in circular motions and does'nt smell
