Are Blogs A Better News Source?

Recently the free Internet advertising service I use (Instant Buzz) went down and did not come back up. I tried to find out what the problem was so I started searching through major search engines like Google. I found lots of mentions of the service, but nothing about why they were down.

So I turned to a blog search engine, Technorati.

In a few moments, I came up with an article that explained that one of the members of the Instant Buzz system spammed and the FCC shut down the site even though the owners of the site did not spam and do not allow spamming. The article felt that the site would be back up in about 10 days.

More and more, I am finding that blogs are becoming my best sources of new Internet marketing techniques, tools and ideas. And now they are even giving me the latest news...
