How To Assess Your Interview Performance

Career : Interviews

One very effective way to assess your interview performance is to get a friend or family member to ask you a list of ten set questions.

These are questions that you think you are likely to be asked at interview that you write down. Turn on the tape recorder, and have your friend act as the interviewer.

Answer the questions as you would at interview.

Afterwards, play back the answers. Analyse - do you sound nervous? Speaking too slowly or quickly? Are you answering well?

By doing this and finding parts of your answers you can tweak or edit, you really do stand a great chance of furthering your career by getting that job.
