| Business : Starting Up In Business When you start a business, it can be easy to gloss over your weaknesses and focus on your strengths. But you avoid confronting them at your peril. There is nowhere to hide if starting a business yourself - you will need to fulfil all the roles of the company. To get a good idea of your skills, ask your friends and colleagues what they think your skills are. Spot the common ground and assess where your weaknesses lie. You then need to ask: are you willing and able to develop those weaknesses? Be honest. If not, then consider taking on a partner who complements your skill set.
