Remember that the main risk comes from so called phishing sites, or clones set up to get your details by people who are disingenuous. Therefore the main security tip is to ensure that you are actually on the proper site for a bank or financial institution. If in doubt check your statement from them to get the address or search google for that bank or institution and follow the direct link. Once you are actually on their site, you should be secure.
