Whilst taking exercise is important, whilst relaxing at home we can also help relieve stress and lower blood pressure.

One method many rely on is the use of fish! Having a few fish in a bowl and watching them for just ten minutes a day can be really calming and relaxing.

Eating spicy food can help speed up your metabolism whilst you are doing nothing. Garlic, chillies and onion are good fat-burners in this context.

Laugh - it helps to relax your blood vessels! If there is nothing good on the box, why not put on the video of Monty Python or something like Fawlty Towers, or your favourite comedic choice!
