So what can you do to bust stress? Well, the first thing to do is ensure that you are OK out of work - are you sleeping well? If not then this can help cause stress. If you suffer from insomnia then it would be worth seeing your doctor and getting advice on how to overcome this. Also make sure that you do enough to relax at home - take a nice warm bubble bath before bed to let the worries of the day flow away. The next tip is to mentally switch off when you leave the office - treat it as a separate world. Stress is only a negative factor whilst it has power over you. By switching off when you leave the office at least it can only hold over you whilst at work! Next ensure that you have a nice comfortable chair at work; being in a tense position or more conditions can make you irritable and more easy and prone to be stressed. If it is volume of work that is the issue, ensure that you take it up with your boss and see what can be done to lighten your workload. Any decent boss will be sympathetic and receptive to your issues and try to help out.
