How To Best Light Your Home For The Eyes
Health And Fitness : Eyes Some forms of lighting are not as good for the eyes as others, and can lead the health of your eyes to suffer over continued exposure. The eyes love light and in general natural light - that's how the eye evolved, after all, and all the electric light we have had for the last couple of centuries try to simulate natural light but don't do as good a job, as it were. Therefore where possible have as much exposure to natural light as possible - these are the ideal conditions for your eyes and should help prevent eye strain. If working in an office where it is impossible to get natural lighting, then try to make sure that artificial daylight bulbs are used, or full strip lights. Fluorescent lights are popular but are not as good for the eyes. Certainly do not work in dark or dingy conditions as this can lead your eyes to strain - if things are too dark then move somewhere where there is more light and you can see comfortable without strain.
