How To Bowl Leg Spin
Sport : Cricket If you are leg spin bowler, then you are quite rare! Leg spin bowlers are few and far between - particularly in English cricket. This is because, simply, it is the hardest type of ball to master and bowl on a consistent line and length on a regular basis. Most leg spinners throw in one or two 'gimme' balls in an over - even those at the higher levels of cricket. However the price can be worth it if you can bowl it well because the delivery and particularly potent and wicket taking on a regular basis. Hold the ball across the seam, and have the first three fingers and thumb on the seam. At delivery the wrist pulls down. There is therefore a much stronger wrist action required with this delivery than the more gentle off spin delivery. If you want to bowl this then you will need a lot of patience and dedication, but if you get it right then you will almost become a shoe-in to many a cricket team!
