| Jobs : Starting A Home Business OK, so the idea of brainstorm often conjures up a short, sharp sit down in a quiet room and a blank piece of paper. Sure that's the first part but not the only part. When setting up your own business it's key that you choose the right avenue for you to go down, and that can't usually be decided after five minutes with a glass of wine and a piece of blank paper. You do need to brainstorm EVERYTHING that interests you, but give yourself a week for the list to develop - things at work, on TV, in the paper may trigger new things to add to the list each day. Only then try to narrow it down from a longer list to what you really want to do.
