How To Break Bad Habits
Health And Fitness : Alternative Health When it comes to bad habits, we all have had a few from time to time and perhaps have some now! So what can be done to stop bad habits and break them? Well, there are two key things you need. One is motivation and one is to tackle and focus on bad habits one at a time, if you have several. It is just not possible to work on resolving more than one bad habit at once, and therefore be realistic and write a list of bad habits to tackle one by one. Once you have chosen the bad habit to tackle, write a list of what is bad about it and what you would like your behaviour to be instead. Use this list as your motivation and refer back to it constantly. At times where you do well at breaking the habit then reward yourself, if you lapse back into the bad habit then read your motivation again and remember why you want to give it up. The key to breaking a habit is to be both motivated and focussed on breaking it, and perhaps even enlisting the help of others to help you break it. Good luck!
