How To Build A Good Relationship With Your Children

Miscellaneous

It can be very hard these days to build a good relationship with children. Gone are the days of one parent always being there with the children as they grow up, and gone are the days where there is inbuilt respect for parents and adults in western society.

Therefore you should ensure that the first thing you do is to spend as much time as you can with your children.

To teach them respect and values, you need to stand firm on yours. If there is a point of principle at stake, don't stand down. This will teach them a valuable lesson in life and stand them in good stead down the line.

Parents who give in too easily or just don't care tend to actually have worse relationships with their parents in the longer term.
