How To Buy Flowers
Relationships : Dating Advice Flowers should never be bought from a petrol station, as they are usually nothing special, and give off the ‘whatever’ impression, as if someone who bought them doesn’t really care. If the person you’re giving them to has a favourite flower, then obviously listen to that and opt for that choice. If not, then think about the type of person they are – maybe they are girly, or have a favourite colour. Try to reflect that in the bunch you decide to buy, it shows thought and hopefully wont go unnoticed. A florist should be able to help you so listen to their advice, and check with them if its suitable for the occasion before you buy. Carnations are usually thought of as a poor man’s flower, so try to steer clear of these. Avoid cheap bunches as they will wilt very quickly. Lilies are linked to funerals so avoid these if its not for this occasion. The pollen also tends to go everywhere and stain, so isn’t very practical. Red roses are the obvious choice and probably not much thought goes into it, so you may be best steering clear from this too.
