How To Change A Lightbulb When It's Hot

Miscellaneous

Sometimes changing lightbulbs can be quite tricky.

Particularly if a lightbulb blows when it is hot then changing it can be difficult.

Safety is paramout when changing lightbulbs so the safest thing to do is to cut off the supply to the lights entirely so that all lights are off and there is no power flowing: do this via the controlbox and switch off the lights circuit.

Ensure it is well lit around the area so you can see what you are doing.

Then use an oven glove to ensure that you are able to remove the bulb without touching it with your skin which could be dangerous as it is hot, and there is always a risk of a bulb shattering in your hands... therefore being fully protected like this is the best bet.
