Cheaper Alternatives To The IPhone 4
Miscellaneous Everyone seems to have gone crazy over the new iPhone 4 but is it really worth it? Usually the contracts begin at £25 per month, but you will have to pay towards the handset too, which is about £219 for a 16gb version. Otherwise if you want a free handset, it will cost you £45 a month on a 2 year contract. We've found some cheaper alternative phones that are just as good! Some other great smartphones include the following: HTC Desire can be found on 3 Mobile's The One Plan and offers 2000 minutes and 5000 texts a month, with 1GB of internet usage and free handset - a pretty good deal if you ask me! This does cost £35 a month over 2 years but is worth it if you usually spend a similar or higher amount on your monthly bill. Otherwise, Mobiles.co.uk provide 300 mins and unlimited texts a month on Orange for £12.50 a month for first year and £25 per month the next. Samsung Monte's top deal is currently T-Mobile (via Into Mobiles) offering a free hand set, with 600 mins and unlimited texts each month. This only costs £8.33 a month on an 18 month contract. Other great deals are Nokia X6 on O2, or T Mobile, and Sony Ericsson X10/X10 Mini on 3 Mobile or Orange (via Dial-A-Phone).
